San Diego Feeling Good’s vision is:

Working together to create a celebration of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) recovery community.

San Diego Feeling Good’s mission statement is:

Recognizing that the rates of alcoholism and addiction are especially high in the GLBT community, and that GLBT individuals seeking to recover from these addictions have needs and issues beyond those of the larger population, San Diego Feeling Good shall produce an annual roundup which shall:

1. Conduct meetings of Alcoholics Anonymous and other 12-step recovery programs as deemed necessary;

2. Include workshops designed to increase understanding of the principles upon which Alcoholics Anonymous is based and to improve the quality of life of GLBT individuals in the areas of recovery, health, community cohesion and other issues of interest to the GLBT community;

3. Provide entertainment and an opportunity for fun.

San Diego Feeling Good shall seek to raise funds at special events throughout the year preceding each roundup so that its cost shall be reasonable and scholarships can be provided. San Diego Feeling Good shall provide an environment at all its events which is respectful of the sexual orientation of the GLBT community and which honors the diverse issues of those in recovery, so that all participants can feel safe and comfortable to be themselves. San Diego Feeling Good shall offer continuing opportunities for anyone seeking to do service work, in accordance with the spiritual principle of giving back that which has been received. San Diego Feeling Good shall be guided by the 12 Steps, the 12 Traditions and the 12 Concepts of World Service developed by Alcoholics Anonymous.
